Hello! I’m Anton Fernando, a professional photographer, seasoned educator, and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) hailing from the vibrant city of Vancouver. My love affair with photography began in 2007, while I was mastering the codes as a Software Engineer for Emirates Airlines in Dubai. This was more than just a hobby – it was an awakening of a new passion, one that would eventually redefine my career path.

Fortunate to be part of the Emirates Group Photography Club (EGPC), a community of photography enthusiasts at Emirates, my journey in photography evolved from being a curious learner to an award-winning artist. The companionship of talented photographers in the club sparked my creativity, and this fertile ground led to national awards and recognition in Dubai.

Notably, it was at EGPC where I discovered another passion – teaching. The joy of sharing knowledge and seeing others grow inspired me, ultimately nudging me towards an opportunity that came knocking in 2010. A degree in Photography at Bradford College, affiliated by Leeds Metropolitan University, was the bridge that led me to switch gears from the Information Technology industry to Photography, a decision I take pride in even today.

Now, with over a decade of teaching experience across various platforms such as Photography institutions, Schools, and Companies, I understand that each student is unique and requires personalized attention. My methodology is unconventional yet effective, derived from the belief that photography is an art form that requires nurturing rather than mere instruction.

It’s not just about mastering the camera; it’s about unleashing your creativity and learning to capture the world through your unique lens. Let’s embark on this exciting journey together, exploring the vast horizon that the art of photography holds.
